Story:
Under the bright floodlights, the cricket stadium was filled with tension. Dark clouds hung overhead, and rain could start at any moment. The scoreboard showed Bangladesh in deep trouble. Every single run felt like a fight.
Rifat stood at the crease, gripping his bat tightly. His hands were damp with sweat. Thousands of fans were shouting his name, but all he could hear was his own heartbeat. He remembered the shot he was told not to play—the “forbidden shot.” But he hit it anyway.
Now, the Indian bowler ran in quickly. The ball came like white fire. Rifat swung a bit late. The stumps broke. He was out.
The crowd fell silent. Rifat walked back slowly, the noise of the stadium fading behind him.
Before the match day, at night, in a dim hotel corridor filled with the smell of cigarette smoke, Rifat had met Rakesh Mehra, the spot fixer. They stood facing each other in silence.
Rakesh finally spoke, his voice cold and calm.
“It’s not about crime, Rifat. It’s about what always happens — games inside games.”
He stepped closer, shadows moving around him.
“Heroes are made only when others choose to fall,” he said.
Then he gave Rifat an offer.
“Fifteen thousand dollars for one missed shot.”
The words hung in the air. Rifat said nothing. His silence said everything.
After the match, Rifat sat alone in his hotel room in Colombo. The room was quiet, but his mind was not. On the table in front of him was an envelope — full of money. It reminded him of everything he had lost.
He could still hear the cheers of the crowd, but now they sounded different — cruel, like laughter. He replayed that moment again and again in his head — the fast ball, the swing, the breaking stumps.
He felt the weight of guilt and regret pressing down on him like a heavy stone. He looked at the envelope again, and his eyes filled with sadness.
Somewhere downstairs, Rakesh Mehra was already making another phone call — searching for the next player, the next victim.
Because once a player gets involved in fixing, he can never escape. The fixer always has proof. And that proof becomes a chain — one that never breaks.

**🎵 Song Title: “Games Within Games”**
*(Genre: Heavy Metal Rock – Male Vocal)*
Verse 1:
Under floodlights, I stood to fight,
Crowd was roaring, my hands were tight.
Every heartbeat felt like pain,
The thunder roared, and then came rain.
The ball was fire, my soul was ash,
One wrong swing, one final crash.
The stumps exploded — the lights went dim,
My silence screamed what’s buried within.
Pre-Chorus:
You said it’s not a crime, just fate,
Games within games we all create…
Chorus:
Now I’m chained to my own mistake,
The crowd still cheers, but my soul shakes.
Fifteen grand for a broken dream,
I drowned my truth in a silent scream.
Can’t escape what I became,
I’m just a pawn in your dirty game.
Verse 2:
In a hotel room, my demons call,
The money waits, I lose it all.
Your shadow whispers through the smoke,
Every promise, every joke.
My name once roared, now it’s a curse,
The guilt inside just makes it worse.
I see the pitch when I close my eyes,
Every night another lie.
Pre-Chorus:
You said it’s not a crime, just fate,
Games within games we all create…
Chorus:
Now I’m chained to my own mistake,
The crowd still cheers, but my soul shakes.
Fifteen grand for a broken dream,
I drowned my truth in a silent scream.
Can’t escape what I became,
I’m just a pawn in your dirty game.
Bridge:
You got proof, you got control,
You own my name, you own my soul!
Every swing, a deal with shame,
You built my fall, you carved my name!
The lights go out, the echoes stay,
I sold my soul that day…
Chorus:
Now I’m chained to my own mistake,
The crowd still cheers, but my soul shakes.
Fifteen grand for a broken dream,
I drowned my truth in a silent scream.
Can’t escape what I became,
I’m just a pawn in your dirty game.
