The Suffering Servant, Jeremiah and the Scattered Blacks/Israelites

The prophet Jeremiah is the suffering servant of Isaiah 53. Isaiah 52:1-12 is about the redemption of the Israelites/black slave descendants -- verse 8 refers to the Second Exodus when YAH brings us back to our own land and finally ends our captivity/exile. Isaiah 52:13-15 refers to YAH's servant (Yisrael); "remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for you are My servant: I (YAH) have formed you; you are My servant: O Israel, you shall not be forgotten of Me. I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, your transgressions, and, as a cloud, your sins: return unto Me; for I have redeemed you." (Isaiah 44:21-22) Isaiah 52:13-15 is a nice segue into Isaiah 53, which continues referring to YAH's servant but refers to a specific servant. Although Isaiah does not mention him by name, Jeremiah is the suffering servant he's referring to. "I (Jeremiah/Israel) am the man who has experienced affliction from the rod of His wrath. He (YAH) drove me into captivity and made me walk in darkness and not light. He repeatedly attacks me, He turns His hand against me all day long." (Lamentations 3:1-3) Israel is YAH's suffering servant -- we're YAH's afflicted (Isaiah 49:13, Isaiah 54:11, etc.), but so was Jeremiah, the writer of Lamentations; his lamentations were/are our lamentations.

Isaiah 53:4 "Surely he (Jeremiah) has borne our (Israel's) griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of YAH, and afflicted."

Pay close attention to the language of Isaiah 53 and the words of Jeremiah:

Isaiah 53:6-7 "All we as sheep have gone astray; every one has gone astray in his way; and YAH gave him up for our sins. And he, because of his affliction, opens not his mouth: he was led as a sheep to the slaughter, and as a lamb before the shearer is dumb, so he opens not his mouth."

Jeremiah 11:19 "But I (Jeremiah) was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they (the Israelites) had devised devices against me, saying, Let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered."

Isaiah 53:8-9 "In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken away from the earth: because of the iniquities of my people (Israel) he was led to death. And I will give the wicked for his burial, and the rich for his death; for he practiced no iniquity, nor craft with his mouth."

Jeremiah 1:9 "...YAH put forth His hand, and touched my mouth. And YAH said unto me (Jeremiah), Behold, I have put My words in your mouth."

The KJV translation of Isaiah 53:10 is terribly corrupted; it says, "it pleased YAH to bruise him; He has put him to grief: when you shall make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of YAH shall prosper in his hand." The Septuagint predates Christianity and the New Testament and the Septuagint translation of Isaiah 53:10 says, "YAH also is pleased to purge him from His stroke. If you can give an offering for sin, your soul shall see a long-lived seed:" Notice that unlike the KJV translation, the Septuagint translation does NOT imply/convey human sacrifice in any way whatsoever. Human sacrifice is forbidden by YAH (Leviticus 18:21, Deuteronomy 12:31, Deuteronomy 18:10-12, etc.) and no man can die for another man's sins (Deuteronomy 24:16, Ezekiel 18:20, Psalms 49:7, Jeremiah 31:30, etc.) The idol of Christianity and the New Testament is just that -- an idol; he's not the suffering servant of Isaiah 53.

Jeremiah 17:5 "Thus says YAH; Cursed be the man that trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart departs from YAH."

Numbers 23:19 "YAH is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent...

Isaiah 46:5 "To whom will you liken Me (YAH), and make Me equal, and compare Me, that we may be like?"

Isaiah 44:9 "I am YAH, and there is none else; I am YAH, and there is none like Me,"

Exodus 20:3 "You (Israel) shall have no gods beside Me (YAH)."

1 Samuel 2:2 "There is none holy as YAH: for there is none beside You: neither is there any Rock like our (Israel's) Father."

Hosea 13:4 "...I am YAH your Father from the land of Egypt, and you (Israel) shall know no god but Me: for there is no Saviour beside Me."

Isaiah 44:6 "Thus says YAH the King of Israel, and His Redeemer YAH of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside Me there is no Savior."
