There is a debate ongoing as to what the final form of separation from Chicago should take for the Illinois counties who wish to separate from the Windy City. Statehood or annexation into surrounding states? Why should activists from both sides of that debate welcome Indiana’s help in order to accomplish their goal. Whatever form it ends up taking?
