Blue Origin just made history!
On November 13, 2025, the New Glenn NG-2 roared off Launch Complex 36 at Cape Canaveral, carrying NASA’s ESCAPADE mission on its journey to Mars. At 20:55 UTC (3:55 PM EST), the massive rocket thundered skyward — and moments later, Blue Origin became only the second company in history to land an orbital-class booster, touching down their first stage smoothly on the vessel Jacklyn in the Atlantic.

NASA’s twin ESCAPADE probes — the Escape and Plasma Acceleration Dynamics Explorers — will travel together to the Red Planet to uncover how the solar wind strips away Mars’ atmosphere by interacting with its faint magnetic field.

A breakthrough launch. A historic landing. A mission that will change what we know about Mars.
