How Jesus Lived — Lazarus Raised

Jesus didn’t just comfort the grieving — He called the dead to life.
Today in John 11:38–44, we watched Him stand before a sealed tomb and speak resurrection into a situation everyone else had given up on.

📖 John 11:43–44 (CSB)

“He shouted with a loud voice, ‘Lazarus, come out!’
The dead man came out…”

Before the miracle, Jesus asked them to remove the stone.
Martha protested because she saw decay.
Jesus saw glory.

📖 John 11:40 (CSB)

“Didn’t I tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”

💡 What this passage teaches us:

God may ask you to move the stone of fear, doubt, or unbelief.

Jesus doesn’t whisper into death — He commands it.

Resurrection may begin with a simple step of obedience.

Jesus brings someone to life, and the community helps unwrap them.

📖 Ephesians 1:19–20 (CSB)

“The immeasurable greatness of his power…
He exercised this power in Christ by raising him from the dead.”

💭 Reflection:

What feels “too far gone” in your life right now?

What stone might God be asking you to move?

Who has God placed in your life to help “unwrap” you?

Who are you called to walk with toward freedom?

If Jesus can call a man dead for four days back to life,
He can revive anything that feels buried in you.
Nothing is beyond His authority, His compassion, or His voice.
