Humpty Dumpty: When the Horus Mask Cracks

Humpty Dumpty isn’t just a nursery rhyme here.
In my system, Humpty is the Horus archetype – the time-bound ego perched on a fragile wall of thought. The wall is the false phallus: the head–neck complex where Set (imagination) overlays the clean lunar reflection of Osiris (consciousness) and pulls us out of Isis (pure awareness).

The “great fall” is the moment the ego-mask cracks. No matter how hard “all the king’s horses and all the king’s men” try to fix it – religion, politics, psychology, self-help systems – they can’t put the original illusion back together again. Because what you are isn’t the shell on the wall. It’s the awareness that was watching Humpty sit, fall, and shatter the whole time.

If this way of mapping myths to inner archetypes resonates, consider subscribing and exploring more of The I Am Experience.
