Square Enix Just Gutted Their Western Offices and That's a Good Thing!

Square Enix just purged their UK and US offices as a part of a major restructuring effort to focus game development at home in Japan and abandon the ideologies of the West actively eating away at their bottom line. Those among the fired was long time Chief Publishing Officer & Head of the Western Branch John Heinecke, who is largely seen as responsible for the downfall of Square's once great reputation.

More moves like this will come and it is not a bad thing, it is a sign the industry is healing.
