Pink Streak - Round 1 - 2025 USA Speedgolf Open

Round 1 of the most anticipated Speedgolf event of the year!
I tee off in my Swedish speed jersey as I have Gatjeak Jew and Jim Davis just 3 and 6 minutes behind pushing the pace and me to the limits.

The front 9, Stonehouse, might actually be my favorite stretch of 9 holes that I've ever played. Almost every hole had it's own fun personality and the views were spectacular!

After a great birdie on Hole #8 and my only lost ball on the tee shot Hole #9, I make the turn in 23 minutes and shot just 3 over 38! That's about as 'A' game as it gets!

The Back 9, Oaks, was a much more serene set of holes and sooo much flatter! Although I was gasping for air and scrambling on every hole outside Hole #10's Birdie, the most Iconic Hole out here is Oaks #4. A blind tee shot to an undulated fairway that's split by a tree almost EXACTLY where the perfect tee shot should be! Don't miss short left, that tree is gnarly and the rough is just as gnarly!

My final 3 Holes I had Jim Davis (No not the creator of Garfield) breathing down my neck. I vowed at the start to NOT get passed today...Mission Successful, just barely!

I played great! I shot an 81 in 50.31
Jim also played great, shooting 86 in just 44.40
