Elk Hunt Public Land 2025

Our friend, Jimmy, and Randy put in as a “party” for a local, hard to draw for, elk permit in May. They were lucky enough to draw [if one draws, so does the other].
Jimmy works out of Jackson, running a guide service from his specially equipped van, for photography and sight seeing tours of Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. https://bearwitnessjacksonhole.com/
He only booked a few tours, the first and last of Oct., then was over here with us for most of Oct. for an antelope hunt [all of us had doe/fawn tags, not lucky enough to draw buck tags] and for their antelope hunt.
While Jimmy has hunted a great deal, he’d never been on an elk hunt, so this was his first elk hunt. He was using a rifle Randy built for him [used the other custom RCR rifle on the antelope].
