Protected by what didn't happen

You’re frustrated about closed doors.
You’re hurt by the things that didn’t work out.
You think God said “no” to punish you.
But sometimes His “no” is Him protecting you from what you can’t see.
The danger you prayed for without knowing it was danger.
He blocked what would have broken you.
He kept what wasn’t meant to keep you.
Sometimes the blessing is in what never happened.
