Epstein sought to restore his reputation after guilty plea, documents reveal

Newly released documents reveal that Jeffrey Epstein and his associates coordinated a multi-year effort to suppress negative press and rehabilitate his image after his 2008 Florida conviction for solicitation of prostitution with a minor.

Emails and memos show Epstein hiring individuals to manipulate Google search results, remove damaging articles, and sanitize his Wikipedia page.

Publicists, including R. Couri Hay and Peggy Siegal, were engaged to guide media coverage, promoting his philanthropic work and connections while downplaying his criminal history.

A 2011 memo from Osborne & Partners outlined a comprehensive PR strategy, emphasizing avoidance of tabloid scrutiny and positioning Epstein as a supporter of science and technology, The Guardian has reported.

Epstein even attempted to enlist HuffPost to investigate allegations against Prince Andrew, though the outreach was never acted upon, highlighting his obsessive focus on controlling narratives around himself.
