A Boy Named Reid, is a true story about eight year old boy’s childhood trauma. In this book for children, Reid Anderson tells his story, with his words, to explain how his accident happened, as if looking through a child’s eyes.

And, how the quick reactions of a loving mom, first responders, doctors, and nurses, saved his life, and most of his hand, except for two fingers, that were lost to the tragedy.

Reid tells about his journey back to health, and how he learned to use his hand again, to write letters, tie his shoes, play ball, do sports, and even play guitar!
