Flat Earth is one of my favorite "conspiracies." It takes you from the idea that you are just some stupid fucking monkey that crawled out of pond scum, spinning out of control, riding on a dying planet (which is your fault, you stupid monkey), in an infinite, cold, dark, expanding universe, full of so many planets that is like the grains of sand in the beach, because you are so insignificant and separate from God.... to being divinely created, in a rational loving universe, with heaven above you, and hell underneath, and understanding that if they can pull off a lie that big, then they could lie to you about anything!
