II. Theme: "Latter Days and Politics!"
i. Could not come up with anything snappier.
ii. D&C different permutations: BC, D&C 1835, 1844, 1876 what it looks like today, 1921 LF removed, 1981, 2013, 2025. Getting into qupte-unquote newer sections.
iii. BKP "the book that will never be closed" A 1990
iv. Two sections, and a third.
1. 133 was received after BC sent out, 3 days after D&C 1. books have roman lowercase and then Arabic. Reason why is set type, locked in. Put errata in roman section, so not have to reset type (Chicago Manual, 1.7). Another workaround is to create an appendix, as with this one. Later given a section number 1835. (Maybe for OD 1 and 2)
2. D&C Two statements, one on politics (how often we have been shortchanged and neglected), and one on marriage. Tricky and delicate issue of polygamy. JS didn't approve, was OC. both left on D&C until 1876 ed. Not revelations but statements like recent proclamations.
III. Point I 133 Appendix
i. Section is two  things:
1. Callback  biblical prophecies. As familiarize yourself with this section, delighted as read them in Bible.
2. Parallel to D&C 1: both begin with "Hearken"Listen up.
ii. Quotes from Savior: v. 9-10, 17-18, 40, 46, 50-52, 66-72
iii. Favorite verse: Quote Isaiah: In all their afflictions He was afflicted."
iv. April 20235
1. RMN "Increased time in the temple will help us prepare for the Second Coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We do not know the day or the hour of His coming. But I do know that the Lord is prompting me to urge us to get ready for that 'great and dreadful day.'"
2. Sister Camille S. Johnson, Elder Dale G. Renlund, and Matthew 25, Parable of Virgins.
3. Don't let Pres. Nelson's death let his warning voice die.
IV. Point II 134 Government
i. Context of mobbing, lawyers, incessant habeus corpus suits. Clarifies for others, but also ourselves. Large poster on wall of HWH  law library.

iii. Verses are dense and run-on, molecular sentences.
iv. Breakdown:
1. Government is of God (generic sense), not necessarily specific regimes or administrations.
2. Life, liberty, Property, John Locke, Declaration of Independence
3. Need for government and officers (civil servants)
4. Place of religion
5. Supporting government
6. Supporting civil servants and elected officers
7. Civil laws not encroach upon religion
8. Due process and police powers
9. No religious favoritism
10. Church discipline
11. Redress of grievances
12. Teaching slaves
