Arrest of Awad Abdel Samad For Murder!

In today’s video, we cover the arrest and sentencing of Awad Abdel Samad, a 24-year-old man from Westminster who was detained on 8 October 2024 on suspicion of murder and possession of a bladed article.
On 13 November 2024, Samad was sentenced to life imprisonment, with a minimum term of 27 years for murder. He also received a further 12 months for possession of a bladed article, to run concurrently. Upon his arrest, officers found him carrying a large lock knife, leading to an additional six-month concurrent sentence.
