The Longinus Point? Where opening our eyes to Jesus comes to a point! St. Longinus watched Jesus breathe his last and said, 'Truly this man was the Son of God!' He then pierced Jesus's side with his spear; the gash sprayed him with blood and water, healing his diminishing eyesight. Let us open our eyes and seek clarity of faith in Jesus. As a layperson, I'll be diving into the Ignatius Catholic Study Bible for the first time. Learn with me as we delve deep into the mysteries of our faith including learning about one of the many saints we honor because of their connection with Jesus. On today's show we are going to get our first introduction to the Gospel According to St. Matthew. If all goes well, we will get through chapter 6 of this Gospel.
