Mocha still has those moments where she doesn't really trust me & she thinks I'm gonna lash out & hurt her. That's just not the way I interact with doggies. With some doggies it takes them months to trust men or certain people. She was on a heavy dose of relaxer medicine, but it had started to wear off by the time I entered her kennel area I believe. Mocha was barking at me heavily when I was entering her kennel, but as soon as I started to feed her, she calmed down & stopped barking at me. At the end this video, she was on the sofa with me lounging. While she was snacking on some goodies on the sofa I had given her, I actually began to caress her back a little. Mocha was a little weirded out by this but we are making progress. None of these steps I should take for granted when I see-interact with her next time. Mocha & I must start fresh every time I see her .. she will always be bothered by me(the wheelchair, a man, only she knows). Constant reassurance is what Mocha needs.
