Heads-they-win, tails-we-lose

I frequently hear Gen X Republicans trying to make sense of why Billionaires and Elites stump in favor of outwardly socialist policies. They seem to think that these people are not always calculating and mapping out their next moves. They know something you don't, and this isn't your granddad's socialism.

Expropriating properties and assets from Billionaires is not something that we do in America, unless it's by means of lawfare. We are going to see the populist movement hand over billions of dollars in public funds to the wealthiest companies and asset management firms in the world, and it will be called socialism.
