Blue In Green (Keys Impromptu Trio)

Jeff "fingered out" this Miles Davis/Bill Evans tune from the more adept piano technique of "hear it / play it". (Hearing the tune was from what he calls "the inner ear".) It's a technique that neither involves memorization or sheet music. You just sit down at the keys and work through what you remember of how it goes. The tune itself? Like "Four" -- one of Miles' finest compositions. (No doubt assisted by Bill Evans who perfected such lilting jazz type tunes as Miles' pianist.)
