Retro Game Players 03 - Captain Skyhawk

I still remember the commercial for this game and we got it for Christmas of 1990. You polit a jet fighter to take down enemy bases. It's pretty cool but it can be challenging at parts of the game.

You have your basic of the mill fly up to the enemy base and destroy it missions but you also have drop bombs at a point missions or rescue a scientist mission. Once you complete a mission you have to fight enemy fighters as you fly through the skies in a 3d environment and once you're done with that you dock into a space station to purchase weapons and missiles.

With some new missions the speed goes way to fast, and you almost crash in an instant (Whoa! Slow Down Buddy!!!!)

As you rescue scientist your normal weapons shoot faster and gets stronger which is very helpful in the later missions. After you defeat the final boss, the game is over with no ending and no credits which is kind of the downside of this game.

Me and Eun-Ji have nothing else bad to say about this game but the ending just plain sucks.
