๐ŸŽ… Santa Claus is officially in town!
Join me for a festive walk through the Toronto Beachesโ€™ annual Santa Claus Parade, where the holiday season kicks off with Santaโ€™s early visit to the East End. Families, kids, and parade lovers filled Kingston Road as the community came together for one of Torontoโ€™s most beloved neighbourhood Christmas traditions.
In this video, we explore the full parade route, starting at Victoria Park Avenue & Kingston Road, traveling west along Kingston Road, turning up Walter Street, and finally wrapping up at Centre 55 on Main Street. Along the way, youโ€™ll see the energy, excitement, and warm holiday spirit that make this parade so special.
This year featured over 40 participating groups, including:
Malvern Collegiate Band
Toronto Fire Pipes & Drums
Optimists Alumni Drum Corps
Eastdale Collegiate Samba Drum Band
Toronto Beaches Lions Club
Beach Metro Community News
Local businesses, schools & community groups
Plus special appearances from local leaders, including Mayor Olivia Chow
The Beaches Santa Claus Parade is known for its cozy, community-focused feelโ€”very different from the huge downtown Toronto Santa Claus Parade. Itโ€™s a neighbourhood celebration full of colourful floats, marching bands, costumed characters, and of courseโ€ฆ Santa and Mrs. Claus greeting everyone along the way.
Whether you grew up attending this parade or youโ€™re discovering it for the first time, this video captures the magic of Christmas in the Beachesโ€”warm, local, and full of holiday cheer. ๐ŸŽ„โœจ
If you love Christmas parades, Toronto events, or neighbourhood holiday celebrations, this walkthrough will take you right into the heart of the East Endโ€™s festive spirit.
