After Gantt supplied Frank with the necessary production and shipping data, it typically took Frank one and a half hours to complete the report. This testimony directly contradicted Frank’s unsworn statement that he finished the financial sheet for the week ending April 24, 1913, in under an hour on the afternoon of April 26—supporting the State’s contention that Frank could not have completed the work in the time he claimed, thereby undermining his alibi that he was occupied at his desk when Mary Phagan was murdered.
