This is two products in one, and both of them are rather good. Firstly, it is an adjustable laptop stand, secondly, it is a USB-C hub. Currently, it is on offer for just £39.90, and so I snapped it up.

In the rather undistinquished box I received the laptop stand itself, a USB-C to USB-C cable,a cloth carry bag and a user guide. Construction quality of everything seems first rate, the laptop stand is made from robust aluminium alloy, the bag from heavy duty cloth and the medium length cable seems of equally good quality.

The stand consists of two metal bars, one housing the hub ports, which concertina apart to support both sides of the laptop with silicone anti-slip pads on the underside of each bar. The top of each bar pulls up and forward to reveal a 9 step support for the bracing strut connecting the top and bottom parts of the bar, allowing almost any angle to be selected for the laptop from 15 to 57.5 degrees. There are also silicone pads on the bar surface to protect the laptop surface and projecting feet to prevent it from sliding forward.

The left lower bar houses the eight expansion ports. The ports are:

To use, simply position the stand angle to that most suitable for you, place the laptop on top, and connect a USB-C port on your laptop to the USB-C data in port on the hub. Depending on the capabilities and settingsd of your laptop you should be abler to use any or all of the ports listed. I tested the dock with my Dell Windows 11, my M1 MacBook Pro and an 11th gen iPad, and all worked fine. I see no reason why it should not work with any portable computer, or even a desktop one when the hub stand is folded.

At the current price, or even at the RRP of @59.99, this has to be a good buy for any laptop or portable computer owner.
