The Cross & Resurrection – Love Proven at the Cross

Today we looked at one of the clearest revelations of God’s heart:
that Christ died for us while we were still sinners (Romans 5:6–11).

This is the love that moved first.
The love that rescued us when we were helpless.
The love that stepped in when we were ungodly, rebellious, broken, and far from Him.

🔥 Key truths from today’s study:

• We were spiritually helpless — but God, rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ (Ephesians 2:4–5).
• Jesus died for the ungodly, fulfilling Isaiah 53:4–6, carrying our rebellion and our wounds.
• God didn’t just say He loves us — He proved it through the cross (John 3:16–17).
• Jesus moved toward us while we were still sinners, not after we cleaned up our lives.
• We were once enemies of God, but now we are reconciled, adopted, forgiven, and loved (Romans 5:10).

This is the foundation of our faith:
a Savior who stepped into our mess and called us His own.

💭 Reflection:
– Am I still trying to earn a love that was already proven?
– What does it mean that Jesus loved me at my worst?
– What area of my life still struggles to believe I’m fully forgiven and deeply loved?

Let this truth settle in your spirit today:
“You were worth the cross to Me.” — Jesus
