The Jewish independent researcher, Michael J. Alter, has been a vocal critic of Gary Habermas' scholarly consensus criterion for his "Minimal Facts Approach". Additionally, he has written a chapter on the Shroud of Turin in his book, The Resurrection and Its Apologetics Jesus’ Death and Burial, Volume One, whereby he evaluates the Shroud evidence on 13 topics.
