Keonne Rodriguez is an American software developer from Florida and the co-founder of the Samourai Wallet, a now-defunct Bitcoin privacy-focused software. In November 2025, he was sentenced to five years in prison for (according to the DOJ) operating an unlicensed money-transmitting business that laundered hundreds of millions of dollars from criminal activities. Keonne or his company NEVER transmitted money. They NEVER had custody of any funds. They just created the software.
