Siskel & Ebert: 11-7-92

Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert reviews "Jennifer 8"; "The Lover" (I owned the 4k UHD/Blu-ray release from Capelight Pictures and before that, I thought it was a remarkable story of forbidden love between a French girl and a young Asian man. Directed By: Jean Jaques Annaud.); "Aladdin" (Went to see an early screening during that Summer, which was incredible at the time. And saw it again during the holiday season. Still, an excellent and fun Disney Animated feature after all these years! But geez, Siskel & Ebert were overrating "The Little Mermaid" and "Beauty and the Beast" way too much! And to make matters worse, they praised Robin Williams more for his performance as the iconic "Genie" (who was hilarious and terrific in his own right) than the main characters, the music and the breathtaking blend of CGI and CAPS animation.
