Does My Giving Even Matter?

In this episode, I talk about a question many of us have wrestled with—does my giving really matter, especially when it feels small? I share how God looks not at the size of our gift but at the heart behind it. Through a personal story about a small financial gift I once gave to a missionary that ended up blessing both of us in unexpected ways, I’ve learned that generosity isn’t about the amount—it’s about obedience and love. When we give with sincere hearts, God uses even the smallest acts to make a difference beyond what we can see.

I also reflect on the story of the widow’s mite and how her humble offering became a timeless lesson in faith and surrender. Every gift, whether financial, through time, or through words of encouragement, carries eternal significance when given to honor God. I encourage you to let go of feelings of inadequacy and trust that God multiplies what you release in faith. As always, I invite you to join the Financially Confident Christian Community, where we grow together in generosity and learn to see giving not as a loss, but as a powerful way to participate in God’s provision. Last week, in Episode 340 “Nervous to Check Your Investments? A Gentle Review for Peace,” we explored finding calm in uncertainty; this week, we’re discovering how every act of giving, no matter how small, holds lasting purpose in God’s kingdom.
