James Taylor heard John Lennon's murder #johnlennon

James Taylor had run into Mark David Chapman the day before he gunned down John Lennon and had his window open in his apartment when it happened, chatting with Jane Asher on the phone. James Taylor lived across the street from John Lennon and he heard five shots. He told Jane the cops must have gunned someone down across the street, but Jane called back and told him it was John.
