Architectural Mind-Enslavement

We are a species with amnesia
After WW2 a man named William Levitt
Capitalized on millions of mentally wounded post war Americans
Who needed low quality homes at a low price
He developed cube-like suburban houses
That are built with cheap materials
The irony is that these houses were cheap then, costing around $8,000
And now those cheap home ideas
sell for around 300,000 to a million dollars
So we pay high prices for what was supposed to be a low cost architectural build.
We are simple uncontained fools
Lost in the facade of false comfort.
Do you agree that architectural design has shifted from a state of geometrical reverence to a state of energetic loss. Are our modern day fast-built shelters only sheltering us from the weather, while providing no shelter from the energetic stagnation that dwells in the corners of these structures?
