Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Is set in the year 2035, the campaign follows David “Section” Mason leading a JSOC task force into the Mediterranean city of Avalon, where a powerful tech corporation called The Guild is hiding a sinister secret. The Guild has developed a bioweapon — code-named the “Cradle” — that induces hallucinations and weaponizes fear.

As Mason and his team investigate, they’re exposed to the gas, triggering shared, vivid nightmares that blur reality and memory. Their mission becomes as much psychological as it is physical: to stop The Guild’s plot, confront their own pasts (including encounters with a resurrected Raul Menendez), and prevent the Cradle’s release on a global scale.
