Learn from Our Parents Mistakes - Gen. 26

Although Isaac repeats the same mistakes his father Abraham made...still the Lord blesses him. Why? It is not that God blesses our sins, it's that His blessings are not dependent on our own faithfulness but on His faithful promises. It is called the "Doctrine of Grace" in the NT. Yet, he paid the price for his disobedience as we will see. We must be obedient, yet our blessings come from God's faithfulness not ours.
