Kaohsiung Jiuru Bridge Construction 🇹🇼 (2025- 04) {aerial}

The aerial footage gives an impression of the construction works that are happening at Jiuru Bridge 九如橋, Gushan District, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan.
After putting the TRA railway line underground this road bridge has partly become redundant. It spanned Love River and railway line plus several roads for 46 years. The bridge had reached the end of it's design life. Demolition started end of November 2023. The length of the bridge including the approach road was 624 meters. After demolition and reconstruction, the new bridge will only cross the Love River. The length of the new bridge will be about 70 meters. The new bridge is expected to be completed in 2026.
