In the span of approximately two weeks following the liberation of the area, the RF Armed Forces advanced significantly, penetrating the positions of Ukrainian formations and subsequently liberating five additional populated areas.

By October 10, the stormtroopers of the 57th Motorized Rifle Brigade GV "Vostok" had established a defensive position on the eastern outskirts of Poltavka.
