Ubisoft is on the Brink of Collapse and They Refuse to Acknowledge Why

Ubisoft has halted share trades for the best part of a week. They are waiting to release their financial report for the first half of FY 2025/26 before resuming trading, but while they explain the pause was necessary to subdue speculation, that is all that is happening at this moment.

Ubisoft has had a terrible few years. With all that is going on, a full acquisition is on the tip of the industry's tongue at the moment and while no obvious suitor has stepped up, something is clearly going on and it's likely for the best. They cannot get out of their own way. Instead of being introspective about their failures, they blame the audience and go so far as saying no one likes playing new games.

It's everyone's fault but Ubisoft.
