Super Mario Bros. 3 - Superplay (Part 2/25)

Behind the scenes, I tried defeating the castle boss by shooting fireballs at him. I thought it would be safer, just like it's safer to shoot the boss of a fortress than it is to jump on him. But the surface was inadequate and it apparently requires quite a few fireball hits to take the castle boss down. I took damage before I could beat him, so I restarted the whole thing and the result is what you see.
