Tasting of the Shipsinker Coconut blended rum

The three of us gather around the worn oak table in the Captain’s cabin for a proper pirate tasting of The Lazy Kraken Shipsinker Coconut Rum—seventeen coconut rums blended and left to rest ninety days in a bourbon barrel aboard a rockin’, never-still ship. A rum aged not just in wood, but in weather.
The Captain’s here to judge. The Queen’s here to decree. And Bloody—well—Bloody’s here to drink whatever’s poured.

The Captain uncorks the barrel, releasing coconut, toasted sugar, and a whisper of charred bourbon oak.
“Seventeen coconut rums,” he says, reverent. “Rocked for ninety days by the sea herself.”

The Queen swirls her glass. “A rum that naps on a boat. How decadent.”
She inhales: coconut flesh, bourbon caramel, sea-salted vanilla.

Bloody compares it to the pre-barrel blend—bright, sharp, sweet, with that strong raw rum bite.

But the barrel-rested Shipsinker is another beast entirely:
smooth toasted coconut, warm oak, brown sugar, smoky bourbon edges, and a deeper, calmer finish carved by the waves.

Bloody slams their glass down. “That’s bloody gorgeous. The sea shook the edges right off it.”

The Captain nods. The Queen delivers her verdict:
“Superior. The barrel turned chaos into harmony.”
