Larry Summers, a prominent economist, former U.S. Treasury Secretary (1999–2001 under President Bill Clinton), former Harvard University President (2001–2006), and current Harvard professor, had a long-standing relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.

2025
👉November 17: Summers stated he is "deeply ashamed," takes "full responsibility," and will step back from all public commitments to "rebuild trust" (while initially planning to continue teaching).

👉November 19: Amid pressure, Summers went on leave from Harvard, stopped teaching for the semester, and resigned as director of a Harvard center.
👉He also resigned from the OpenAI board of directors.

👉Harvard launched a new internal review/investigation into Summers and other affiliates mentioned in the documents (revisiting ties beyond a 2020 report that found no further gifts post-2008).

𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
👉New York Times ended his contributing writer contract;
👉Center for American Progress ended his fellowship;
👉Yale's Budget Lab removed him from advisory group.

👉New EMAILS with Epstein show Summers' request for advice on seduction, particularly regarding a woman associated with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

👉All this data was available to the Biden administration and nothing was done

In the video below, a student captures Larry apologizing to his class and before Trump signed the release of the files, Trump talks about the high profile people that should be investigated.
