Killer Goes On FB Live After Fatal Mall Shooting In Memphis

Goodmotion Alex went live on Fb after he killed a man, Erik Sandoval, in Wolfchase Mall.

One person is dead and a person is in custody after a shooting Monday afternoon inside the Wolfchase Galleria mall in Cordova.

Neither the victim nor the suspect has been identified.

Officers responded at 2:09 p.m. to a shooting. A victim was located and taken to a hospital in critical condition, but later died, police said.

A suspect fled the mall in a white SUV, but has been identified and detained, police said.

Police said two people were involved in an altercation inside the mall, which led to the shooting. They said the shooting was an isolated incident and was not an active shooter situation.

It is not clear how long the suspect was on the run for, nor the motive, but police told WREG that the shooting happened in the hallway of the mall after two men were arguing and one pulled out a gun and started shooting.

Memphis police have not identified the victim.
