The Paper Plane is one of the rare modern classics that earned its spot behind every great bar. Built on a perfect four-way handshake of bourbon, Aperol, Amaro Nonino, and fresh lemon juice, it hits that sweet spot between bright, bitter, and smooth.

Expect a punchy citrus aroma up front, followed by honeyed bourbon warmth, orange-spice bitterness, and a crisp, silky finish. It’s the kind of cocktail that feels both refreshing and complex — playful on the nose, serious on the palate, and impossibly easy to drink.

No Amaro Nonino? Sub Montenegro and you get a slightly softer, orange-vanilla depth that still lands beautifully in the glass.

- ¾ oz Bourbon
- ¾ oz Aperol
- ¾ oz Amaro Nonino (or Montenegro)
- ¾ oz Lemon Juice
