Today I’m reacting to a thought-provoking video from Mentis Wave titled “Destiny Accidentally Debunks Himself”, where he exposes multiple moments of hypocrisy from Destiny — for example, complaining about one Trumps actions while staying silent when Obama or Biden did the same thing; claiming Trump has done “20 impeachable things” without naming any; and making jokes that tread into dangerous territory like “Luigi got the wrong CEO” after reading a headline about major fires and Trump.

I’ve got serious concerns here. If you present yourself as someone who fights injustice, you can’t skip the specifics. Saying “he did this” without naming what “this” is looks like performative outrage. And jokes that reference violence or imply harm — even in a meme context — matter when you have a big platform.

Destiny’s contradictory criticisms — when he loudly condemns one leader’s behavior but remains silent (or vague) about another’s nearly identical behavior.

The missing substance problem — repeatedly claiming wrongdoing (“20 impeachable things”) without providing evidence or context.
