When I’m stuck procrastinating, I tell my brain, “I’ll do this for just 30 seconds.”
I set a timer and start—nothing fancy, just a tiny first step.
Once I’m in motion, it usually feels easier to keep going than to stop.
It’s like pushing a heavy cart: the first push is tough, but the rest becomes smoother.
Small starts create momentum, and momentum does the real work.
With simple systems in place, this habit becomes even easier to repeat.
