Assassin's Creed Shadows - Contract - Eliminate guards in Muggy Lands

The Muggy Lands press at the skin like a moist blanket—thick air, broken farm roads, and people who glance over their shoulders because fear has become habit. I took the contract because those who should have protected these people instead preyed on them. Stealth first: breath measured, steps light, shadow as my cloak. One by one the guards fell before they had a chance to sound the alarm. Quiet as a feather landing on still water—no cries, no confusion, only the soft settling of silence.

After, I gathered what they had stolen: mon, supplies, tools. It is never enough, but it is something. Each item will feed the cause, warm a family, or buy time for another plan. I do not celebrate their end—there is no joy here—only resolve. The blade is a tool and a burden. It gives the people back what was taken and reminds me why I walk this road. Tonight the fields will sleep easier; tomorrow the work continues.
