'We just have to mention Itavia 880, which was, I believe, shot down in 1988 over Italy. Only 10 years later did they make public that it had been the Americans who had shot down this DC-9 with an air-to-air missile mistakenly thinking it was Gaddafi's airplane. But 10 years on, no one was interested in this scandal and there's a danger that this will happen again, that in 10 years or so we find out that this and that happened. The world will be different then, but no one will be interested in what we learn. That's why it's important that we're talking about it today'.
