This video is a re-post. YouTube moved it to limited ads so I had to pull it down, revise and upload again.

I picked up this CVA Scout Take Down in .444 Marlin from my local gun store several weeks back. For some reason, CVA has been drilling and tapping all their barrels for a front sight, even though not installing front sights on them, leaving a gapping threaded hole in bare metal at the front of the barrel.

I reached out via their customer email interface and they immediately put 2 screws in the mail! I'd still prefer it have not been drilled at all but it beats nothing....

While I had it on the bench, I also checked the equipment rail screws for lock tight and proper torque before mounting my optic.... Always do this guys! lol
