Jesus Prophecy in Old Testament

The book of Isaiah is considered to contain many prophecies about Jesus, including his virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14), his suffering and death as a "suffering servant" (Isaiah 53), and his eventual return and reign. Key passages are frequently cited in the New Testament to show Jesus as the fulfillment of these ancient prophecies, with verses naming him "Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace" (Isaiah 9:6).
