Self-Inflicted Inflation: The Movie Theater

Right after recording this dumb video, Disney announced they were paying Kristen Bell, Josh Gad, and Idina Menzel $60 million each for two more Frozen movies.

So, $30 million a movie, for each actor.

Sure, I blame the movie theater for the $10 service charge in this video, but I was already questionable on the ticket prices themselves.

To be asked to pay $72 to see a movie, so the actors can get $30 million to sit in a sound booth?

Hard. Pass.

As soon as the kids hit high school, we’ll probably drop Disney+, too.

It’s effed up; things don’t have to be this expensive.

Sure, tariffs are making goods cost more, but Hollywood is imploding by its own hand.

I wonder how many people out there are as turned off as I am by this.
