What is Sin? |✝

It's the day after Thanksgiving here in the United States. Which also means it's black friday, the biggest shopping day of the year. Both of those days open people up to personal sins, like gluttony and selfishness. Which are sins that, for the most part, only hurt the person committing the sin. If that's the case, why are personal sins considered sins? Moreover, what actually is a sin? What makes one action sinful and another not? Let me explain.
