Here is a Synapsys of the court cast from Law.com: Community Health System was hit with a whistleblower retaliation lawsuit on July 30 in California Superior Court for Fresno County by a registered nurse who alleges she faced retaliation after reporting a dramatic surge in fetal deaths at the hospital system's facilities. According to the complaint, the plaintiff documented an increase from approximately four unborn baby deaths per year to four per week after Spring 2021, but when she preserved evidence and reported concerns to supervisors and state authorities, the defendant allegedly retaliated by denying her a $5,000 retention bonus, issuing a baseless final warning and creating a hostile work environment through heightened scrutiny and workplace isolation. The suit was brought by JW Howard Attorneys and attorney Gregory J. Glaser.
