Chapter 1 Summary – Main Scenario 012
Chapter 1 follows Lightning shortly after she is summoned by Cosmos for the 12th cycle of the war. Task-focused and determined, she sets out to survey the land and gather allies. Along the way, she encounters other warriors—Vaan and Kain—who, like her, have been summoned with only fragmented memories of their pasts.

The group begins forming a small team, but there is tension beneath the surface.

Lightning reluctantly becomes the leader.

Vaan is enthusiastic but inexperienced.

Kain is calm and reliable, though his motives feel unreadable.
